(Cape Town, July 2016) Fine dining restaurant, Benguela on Main in Somerset West is taking the tradition of Christmas in July to another level with Executive Chef, Jean Delport creating a five course Christmas dinner with a fine dining twist. On Saturday, 30 July 2016 guests can indulge in a Christmas tradition unlike any other.

The menu incorporates dishes such as smoked breast of goose, rolled saddle of Fallow deer and panettone truffle torte, to name a few, and ends off with decadent petit fours. It’s Delport’s display of culinary artistry and his take on Christmas in July which will leave you feeling festive in the middle of winter.

Celebrate with family and friends at R540 per person. The Christmas in July menu is exclusive to evening bookings at a time that is convenient between 6:30pm and 9pm. If you’d like to pair your meal with award-winning Benguela Cove wines, the restaurant has a ‘You drink, we drive’ complimentary service available for those who reside in Somerset West. A Benguela on Main car will fetch and drop you off, all of which can be arranged when you book your reservation.
