Comedy.  Headliner Siv Ngesi is one of SA’s most dynamic actors and comedians and with good reason. He immersed in several different spheres of the performing arts at one time, showcasing his talents across a number of platforms. He was  voted Mail & Guardian’s most influential young South African. Age 9, Siv toured Asia with Les Miserables in the coveted role of Gavroshe. Since then landing  roles in films such as World Unseen, Zeenon Z3 , Schweitzer , Invictus and Long Walk To Freedom. In 2014 Siv captivated audiences with his smile and dance moves in the 7th Season of Strictly Come Dancing. Siv performs to expats all around the world and with his very South African flavour of humour , he makes many want to book a ticket back home to SA .

Tracy Klass has been performing stand up comedy since her arrival in Cape Town in 1999. She is known for her ‘growing up disgracefully’ stance on life and being dragged towards middle age – kicking and screaming rather than floating gracefully on a cloud of Clarins and botox. She also gives a unique take on those issues women hold very dear; children, weight, ageing and food.

Dalin Oliver is a Cape Town based Comedian and the Sports Presenter on Good Hope FM’s Breakfast show. He has managed to capture audiences with his clean cut energetic brand of comedy. From recording his first DVD Special of his debut one man show “I Came, I Taught, I Left”, to being featured on Comedy Central and performing at sold out runs at the Baxter Theatre as well as National Arts Festival, Dalin is fast becoming a familiar face on the South African comedy scene.

South African singer/songwriter Manny Walters may describe his sound as ‘electric rhythm & blues / garage soul’, but, whatever designation you choose to apply, one thing is clear – Manny Walters is imbued with an intuitive and instinctive musicality that is rare indeed in its authenticity and gravitas.  The grit-flecked, raw soul of his commanding voice is profoundly resonant in its ability to captivate the listener. Having just released his debut EP, Walters is the kind of emerging artist who will readily find favour with those who desire music that appeals to the conscience just as easily as it satisfies the soul. For the past nine years, multi-talented musician and master guitarist Mel Botes, has tantalized audiences all over the country with his critically acclaimed musical performances in two Pink Floyd tribute shows, Crazy Diamond and Dark Side of the Moon and later his tribute to Dire Straits – Sultans of Swing.

Audiences and critics agreed that he mastered the complexity and density of the music in both the tribute shows in a way that none of the other tribute shows have achieved. Now, by popular demand, he is presenting the next chapter in his tribute to Dire Straits series named, “Private Investigations”. Featuring the same pinpoint accuracy in his playing, the same delightful Botes touch, and authenticity he gives everything audiences have come to expect from the virtuoso. Majozi is a proudly South African musician from the coastal city of Durban who wears his heart on his sleeve. Literally. He has tattoos dedicated to his faith and to his mother two very defining aspects of his life, both of which inspire the music he writes.

In 2013, he released his first EP, Marvelous Light, recorded and produced by Warren Meyer of Doppler Studios. The album made it to No.9 overall on the South African iTunes chart and No.1 in the singer/songwriter category. Following the online success and popularity of the EP, and his first single, The River , Majozi has gone on to release a number of catchy songs, all of which have been wildly successful. His hot track, Fire, made it to Number 10 on 5fm and his feelgood single, Darling, cracked it into the Top 10 on both the East Coast Radio and Jacaranda FM charts. His most recent single, The Greatest Love , not only made it to the Top 10 of Jacaranda FM’s charts, but also into the iTunes Top 40 chart on 947 and KFM.

His most recent achievements include receiving the opportunity to play a festival in Amsterdam, alongside South African music greats, Francois van Coke and Die Heuwels Fantasties, as well as the release of his brand new album, Fire, which soared to No.3 on the SA iTunes charts. Nominated for a South African Music Award for her indie acoustic album S’bongile last year, it’s evident that singer songwriter Josie Field has no intention of slowing down and continues to make her mark on the South African music scene.

Her signature sound is a potent mix of lyricism and fire, heart-felt issues and tender constructions. She has a unique soulful blues infused voice and vocal delivery style that sets her apart. This marked leaning to sing about actual issues means that her songs have an edge to them that many do not expect. Having dabbled in soul, blues and country in her third album and with strong elements of jazz coming through on her latest release, Josie is no ordinary folk musician, don’t be misled by the singer/songwriter tag.  Field releases her much anticipated fifth album this year, expect great things.
