South Western Districts cricket recently announced the provincial age group coaches for the respective teams that will participate in the Cricket South Africa (CSA) national tournaments in December.
André du Plessis, the SWD High Performance Coach, will be the head coach for the SWD U/19 team that will participate in the Coca Cola Khaya Majola u/18 week that will be hosted in Bloemfontein over the period 16-20 December. He will be assisted by Merlin Masimela who also played first class cricket for SWD. The team manager is Francois Visagie.
The CSA u/17 tournament will be hosted in Benoni from 11-15 December and Pieter Stuurman will be the head coach.
Johan Bruiners is the head coach for the SWD u/15 team with Ranwill Claassen as assistant for the CSA u/15 national week that will take place in Potchefstroom from 8-12 December.
The head coach for the SWD u/13 team is Wynand de Ridder for the CSA u/13 week that will take place in Cape Town from 9-13 December. Bronwill Goeda is the assistant coach.
Eric Jacobs is the head coach for the CSA U/19 Girls team with Elridge Booysen his assistant. The CSA u/19 Girls week will be hosted in Pretoria from 9-13 December.
