The SWD Women’s team bounced back with an impressive ten wicket victory over KwaZulu Natal Inland in the Cricket South Africa Women’s Twenty20 Competition on Sunday after an eight wicket defeat in the limited over match that was played on Saturday. The matches were played at the City Oval in Pietermaritzburg.
In the One Day match the SWD ladies were dismissed for 124 in which KZN Inland replied with 125/2 to record an easy 8 wicket victory.
In Twenty/20 clash impressive bowling performances by Harolene Rhodes (2/3), Monique Booysen (2/5) and Jane Winster (2/6) restricted the home team to 63 to which SWD responded with 64/0 for an impressive ten wicket bonus point victory.
