The defending champions Union Stars who currently set the pace in the Sedgars Premier league (1st place at 35 points after 9 matches) will aim to secure the top spot and a direct place in the final when they host Pirates United (3rd place at 25 points after 9 matches) at Bridgton on Saturday.
As from this season the team finishing in the first place will directly qualify for the final with the second and third placed teams that will play a qualifying match.
Western Hope (2nd at 26 points after 9 matches) will take on Mossel Bay (7th place at 18 points after 9 matches) at home. George (5th place – 21 points after 9 matches) will host Pacaltsdorp United (9th place at 14 points after 8 matches) at Rooivier-rift while Ramblers (8th place – 15 points after 9 matches) will log horns with Sussex (6th place – 19 points after 6 matches).
