The Sedgars SWD Premier League competition will resume on Saturday after the holiday break and four interesting matches are predicted. With the provincial players available the competition will even be more interesting.

The defending champions, Union Stars, who are leading the points table (35 points after 10 matches) will take on Western Hope (3rd position – 30 points after 10 matches) in the Bridgton derby. Pirates United, who are in second place (35 points after 11 matches) will host Mossel Bay at Loerie Park in Knysna. Ramblers, who showed great promise during the first season in the premier league, will host Harlequins Forces in George. Nkululeko Serami, who recently played for the Cape Cobras will boost the Ramblers team while Jongile Kilani, Siyabonga Booi and Glenton Stuurman will be key players for Harlequins.
SWD runs scoring machine, Andrea Agathagelou, will make his debut for George when they take on Sussex at Rooirivier-rift.
