Harlolene Rhodes, with an outstanding all-round performance with bat and ball, was the hero for Union Stars as they retained the SWD Women’s title on Sunday when they defeated Western Hope by 172 runs.

Union Stars, who won the toss and batted first, posted 228/8 thanks to a century by Rhodes (113; 152 balls, 5×4). Rhodes (6/19 in 9.4 overs) also excelled with the ball to restrict Western Hope to 56 all out for a comprehensive Union Stars victory.
