Outeniqua Hop Route represents George, Wilderness members to 80 Travel Agents

A networking day was held at Fancourt for over 80 travel agents and tour operators on Thursday 4th May, where Michael Cook and Martin Reimann from the OTA presented The Outeniqua Hop Route and all its members.

For many of these travel agents, it was their first visit to George, although they send many tourists to the Garden Route, and were very interested in finding out more abut the city. They were impressed how much there is to do and how beautiful the beaches and area is.  Hop Route went out of its way to showcase some of the great attractions, accommodation and restaurants that George and Wilderness have to offer.  The delegation was taken to Redberry Farm for lunch where they tried the Maze and miniature train, they were then transported to the various Guesthouses and Hotels, for a quick change and off to 101 mead st. for a superb evening.  Friday morning was an early start for Canoeing in Wilderness with Eden Adventures. All of these attractions and accommodation was kindly donated by the members.  The travel agents then went onto Knysna they were hosted by Knysna Tourism.  The success of this visit would not have been possible without the support of the Outeniqua Hop Route Members.
