(Cape Town, May 2017) – Café Royale has announced its winter menu, inviting everyone to bask in an al fresco dining experience on their Parisian style patio.
Nestled in fringe of hedges, you’ll be transported from the Green Point hub to the streets of Paris. Stepping away from the tapas style dinner menu, Café Royale has created all-new dishes with a fine dining feel for lunch and dinner.
Delve into the moreish Goats Cheeses Tartlets or Thai Fish Cakes as a starter or a light snack. For some winter comfort, get stuck into the Grilled Lamb with harissa, creamed hummus with pomegranate and cilantro or the Confit Duck with barley risotto, smoked corn, semi-dried tomato and parsley. And if that isn’t enough, choose from their Red Espresso Crème Brule, Blueberry Parfait or Chocolate Fondant just to sweeten the deal. Daily specials and an assortment of fresh cakes are also available.
“The new menu is designed to bring back the simplicity in cuisine and to enhance the power of each gastronomic element on the plate,” explains Paolo February, new Head Chef at Café Royale. “With the smaller portion sizes, I have found that I am able to bring out a more intense flavour in each of our fresh, locally sourced ingredients.”
Café Royale is located on the ground floor of the Cape Royale Luxury Hotel in Green Point, CBD and is open for lunch between 12:00 to 15:00 and 15:00 to 23:00 for dinner. For more information, please visit www.caperoyale.co.za. To book a reservation at Café Royale contact 021 430 0500.
