Smart Office Connexion team sponsor SWD in Africa T20 Cup

Tuesday 22 August 2017 – SWD CRICKET received a welcomed financial injection this when it was announced that Smart Office Connexion will be the team sponsor for the Oudtshoorn based team for the Africa T20 Cup. 

Present at the sponsorship announcement for the Africa Twenty 20 Cup were: Albertus Kennedy (Chief Executive Officer SWD Cricket), Morné Pietersen (Station Manager Eden FM), Hannes Visser (Editor Oudtshoorn Courant), Marcel de Ridder (Business Manager Smart Office Connexion) and Rudy Claassen (President SWD Cricket)

SWD will be in action this weekend when they together with Easterns, Namibia and Western Province lock horns at Willowmoore Park in Benoni to determine the winners of Pool A and the final qualifying position for the semi-finals.

The SWD team for this weekend’s Africa T20 Cup Pool A round in Benoni is:

The Group Editors Company, the publisher of several local community newspapers will be a secondary sponsor under the brand of the Oudtshoorn Courant this year with the local community radio station, Eden FM, the media partner.

The SWD team will be captained by wicket keeper batsman Brendon Louw.  Protea, Dane Paterson and Cobras spin bowler, George Linde will boost the SWD team. Together with new recruitments Obus Pienaar, Letlotlo Sesele, Daniel Sincuba and Sammy Mofokeng SWD will have a decent line-up for this weekend.
