As summer draws closer, so does the call of the great outdoors and as far as enticing outdoor destinations goes, nothing beats Dirtopia near Stellenbosch.

The fun kicks off with the Spur MTB Classic on Sunday, 1 October, with various routes to suit different skills levels and entertainment for the whole family. If you need to hone your MTB skills, sign up for interactive skills clinics aimed at novice or intermediate riders presented by David Hogan.
Thursday, 5 October, will see the start of the seasonal FALKE Full Moon Hikes, which takes place monthly on the night of the full moon. Guests can enjoy a picnic with spectacular scenic views at the top of Klapmutskop. On Sunday, 8 October, Dirtopia will be introducing a new offering with their first yogathlon. Clear the mind with a 5-7km run followed by a yoga and mediation session.
The Klapmuts Cup is the pre-ultimate trail run in the 2017 FALKE Trail Run series and takes place on Sunday, 15 October. Runners will be able to enjoy traversing one of the oldest trail networks in the Cape with sections of stunning single and jeep tracks.
The Dirtopia Café will offer special menus celebrate important days on the calendar. Have a cuppa and a brownie on International Coffee Day or a burger with a glass of wine or beer on World Teachers Day. Spoil the grandparents with delectable finger foods and decadent sweets on Grandparents Day or enjoy a Pinotage and pancake tasting on International Pinotage Day. Treat the boss to a burger and beer combo or chicken salad and a glass of wine on National Bosses Day or dress up the kids for a treat on Halloween.
