Geraldine Scholtz releases brand new music video

During August 2017, Geraldine Scholtz, the talented young blonde with the sparkling personality, released her first single, Sommer.

Within a few short weeks, the song started climbing the charts on several radio stations such as Overvaal Stereo, Bosveld Stereo, SFM, Lekker FM and Radio Laeveld and listeners can’t seem to get enough of this fresh new song.

Penned by Johan Oberholzer, this hit pop song is about a girl who falls in live with someone who does not notice her.  The single is the perfect match for the newcomer’s strong, clear voice and is definitely something that will appeal to audiences of all ages.

The music video was officially released on the popular kykNET Top 20 program on the 29th September, 2017 and viewers are mad about it!

The video was filmed by Gerhard van Rooeyn at 012 Central in Pretoria.

From the first time that I heard the song, I knew exactly what I wanted to do for the music video.  The video plays out in two rooms – one light, one dark – symbolising different meanings.  The light room is about the sadness that the girl experiences because the person does not feel the same as she does, while the darker room depicts the feeling of her love,” Geraldine reveals.  “Gerhard and his team were incredible.  We laughed so much and I really enjoyed every moment of filming.”

Sommer is the perfect combination of a hit track and an easy listening tune, that showcases her voice to its best!  With this hit, Geraldine is sure to make a mark in the music industry.
