The Municipal Public Accounts Committee (MPAC) Chairperson of Eden District Municipality (Eden DM), Cllr Nthabiseng Lichaba, was elected as a member of the NAMPAC National Executive Committee and the Treasurer of the National Municipal Public Accounts Committee (NAMPAC).
The election of the Treasurer took place on 27 November 2017 at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand.
The purpose of the meeting was for MPAC members to adopt the draft NAMPAC Constitution and to elect the NAMPAC leadership as per the resolution, which was taken during a NAMPAC Consultative Workshop held in September 2017 at Birchwood, Boksburg.
