Robben Island Museum in partnership with the African World Heritage Fund (AWHF) hosted the 2018 C2C meeting. This meeting saw an assembly of the UNESCO World Heritage organisations discussing strategies to conserve and protect World Heritage sites, such as Robben Island. The purpose of this meeting was to critically reflect on the work of UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural organization) and to address aspects of nature conservation and protecting cultural properties
