George Cricket Club moved to the second position on the SWD Premier League log position after the weekend’s action. On Saturday their match against Pacaltsdorp United was abandoned and on Sunday they defeated Pioneers by 60 runs after scoring 155 and thereafter dismissed Pioneers for 89.
NMU had mixed successes. On Saturday their lost by 3 wickets against Union Stars but on Sunday NMU posted 174 and thereafter dismissed Harlequins for 160 for a 14 runs victory. Harlequins (178/5) were successful on Saturday with a 8 wicket victory against Pirates United (175/8.
Mossel Bay (95/2) defeated Ramblers (94 all out) by 8 wickets whilst Western Hope (110/9) recorded a nail-biting 1 wicket victory against Pioneers (109 all out)
