2ndLife is back with a new single written especially for our country and its people.
Reënboog was written by musical couple, Boon and Liezel, and is an emotional song that is perfectly suited for our country at this point in time. It captures the longing that lives inside the heart of each South African. We are confronted with the tragedy and pain of our people on a daily basis as social media and the news keep us well-informed.
The song is not political and it does not hurt. It conveys a message of hope, a dream, for South Africa!

Lead singer, Boon says: “Reënboog is about the calling for us, as South Africans, to stand together and create a country of hope. When our friends leave the country for a better future, we stick to what our ancestors fought for. We are in love with our country and just want to stay here. The pain and suffering of our people affect us deeply and we can no longer stand by and watch. We must look to Him for salvation, because South Africa has so much potential and divine beauty.”
2ndLife’s music is unique because it combines the latest electronic sounds with heartfelt lyrics and string instruments, like the banjo, mandolin, guitar, piano and violin. It takes you on a deep emotional journey and provides listeners with answers to some of life’s biggest questions. Fans draw inspiration from their music like a piece of clay that was created by God’s hand to speak to the heart.

2ndLife’s first Afrikaans single, LEWE, was released in 2017 and was very well received. It receives regular playtime on the radio and still features on the music charts of some of the country’s biggest radio stations.
