Celebrate International Cat Day at Cat Heaven Rescue Cat Café & Gift Shop in Somerset West

In honour of International Cat Day (which is celebrated annually on 8th August), Cat Heaven invites cat lovers to join their cat-spirational celebratory event. 

When: Cat-urday 11th August between 13h00 and 16h00

Where: Cat Heaven Rescue Cat Café (non-profit organisation), 35 Bright Street, Somerset West

Cost: R20 per head donation towards the upkeep of the rescued resident cats at Cat Heaven Rescue Cat Café.

Cat lovers are invited to meet and interact with the 14 resident rescue cats at Cat Heaven Rescue Cat Café and chat to Dr Angelique Smit (facility vet at Cat Heaven) who will be answering all feline concerns and questions: the goal being to show the public that rescue cats are beautiful. DON’T SHOP – ADOPT! HAPPY MEOWS!! Lots of paw-some prizes will be on offer from a Raffle and Lucky Draws. Coffee, tea, soft drinks, cake, popcorn and biltong will be on sale. Guests will be able to browse in the paw-some cat-inspired gift shop, and there will be face painting for kids. Please note no children under the age of 6 are allowed inside the Rescue Café. In the event of rain, the event will be postponed until the following Cat-urday.
