The SWD Women’s team missed out on an ideal opportunity the past weekend to be pool leaders in Pool A when they disappointingly lost both the limited over and Twenty/20 match against Eastern Provence. Poor batting displays must take the blame for both defeats at St George’s Park.
In the limited over match the home team was restricted to 126 whereafter the SWD ladies collapsed to 72 all out for a 54 runs defeat.
In the T20 match on Sunday EP aggregated a modest 70/7 to which SWD replied with 60 (all out) for a 10 run defeat.
