With the SWD premier league competition reaching its play-off stages every match becomes crucial and clubs will be keen to prove a point.
There is a lot of interest in the clash between Union Stars and NMU George on Saturday. The winner of this match will be in a good position to finish on top of the log and to secure a place in the final.
The derby between George and Pacaltsdorp United will also be a vital match. A victory for George will strengthen their position for a place in the play-off match whilst Pacaltsdorp will be desperate to exit the relegation zone.
Union Stars will defend their Women’s title on Saturday when they take on Harlequins in the final which will be played at the REC Ground in Oudtshoorn. Quarter final matches in the Reserve- and Promotion league will also be contested on Saturday.
