The Continental Buffet is set up each morning and guests can sit inside or take their pick from two al fresco options – either the courtyard by the pool, or the outside pavilion overlooking Walker Bay.
An impeccable selection of local cheeses and sliced cold meats awaits. Tea bread and health loaf make up the breakfast bread options. There will also be freshly baked pastries such as muffins, scones and croissants, which will be accompanied by homemade preserves like jam and marmalade.
There is a daily selection of fresh fruit juices and a choice of sliced fruit, fruit salad and poached fruit. Yoghurt flavours include low-fat fruit or summer fruit as well as unsweetened double-thick Greek-style yoghurt. For cereal lovers, cornflakes, muesli and bran flakes are provided.
The last option to choose from is the Franschhoek smoked salmon trout served with cream cheese, capers and lemon wedges. The cost for the buffet is R145 per person and includes tea and coffee.
If you prefer a cooked English-style breakfast over a Continental one, then opt for The Marine Breakfast Special instead. This includes a choice of eggs (poached, fried, boiled, scrambled), pork sausage, streaky bacon, mushrooms, baked beans, tomato and fried bread. End this scrumptious breakfast off with a lovely cup of tea and/or coffee. The cost for the buffet is R145 per person.
The Continental Buffet & The Marine Breakfast special are both available daily from 07h00 to 10h30 from 01-30 April 2019. Booking is essential.
