Mossel Bay Cricket Club will remain in the SWD premier league after the club ended on top of the table in the premier league promotion/relegation play-off matches that were concluded on Saturday.
After they recorded bonus-point victories against Western Hope and Thembalethu during the first two rounds they also recorded full match points after they opponents for Saturday, Pacaltsdorp United forfeited their match.
In the other match Western Hope (64/2) only needed 7.2 overs to brush-off Thembalethu (62 all out) for an 8 wicket bonus-point victory. Thembalethu qualified for the play-off competition after they won the promotion league earlier. Western Hope and Pacaltsdorp United will therefore be relegated to the promotion league in 2019/20.
