“We realised that loads of people find themselves in the dilemma of making holiday plans at the very last second. There are a bunch of great reasons to make your holiday plans in advance to go on that trip you know you deserve,” said Van Tonder.
First off, booking in advance means that you don’t have to worry about not getting a reservation at the destination of your choice. This not only saves you the hassle of having to phone around to find cancellations, but it also means that you don’t have to settle for less. Booking in advance gives you the advantage of knowing that you will be staying at the destination you had in mind.
The fact that a lot of families tend to go on holiday during the June school break makes this a peak period at vacation destinations. Not only hotels and other accommodation options tend to have higher prices in these peak seasons, but even entertainment costs at popular holiday destinations seem to go up.
