Potjiekos, Winter and a robust red wine go hand in hand, and what better to enjoy all three than at Middelvlei Wines with their popular Potjiekos Sunday, which takes place on 11 August (from 12:30pm).
Situated in the heart of the Stellenbosch Winelands, a visit to Middelvlei Wines is the perfect day out for the whole family.
The cost of R165 per person includes a freshly baked potbrood and snoek pâté as well as delicious venison potjie served on a bed of rice. Coffee and something sweet complements the perfect Sunday lunch. A vegetarian option is also available. The younger ones will be treated to special kiddies’ box comprising a zig zag boerewors with chips, juice and some sweet treats. Alternatively they can opt for a hamburger and chips meal. Both kiddies options are available at R60 each.
Homecooked food, superb wine and great company will no doubt make this a day to remember.
