Health surveillance of premises is a function of Garden Route District Municipality’s (GRDM’s) Municipal Health Services (MHS) Section who serve to promote safe, healthy and hygienic conditions at all premises e.g. housing, business, and public premises.
The raising of the Garden Route Dam spillway and wall commenced in May 2019 and is on program to be completed within the 10 months construction program.
The Mossel Bay Business Chamber celebrated 10 years of excellence service to the community with a gala event at the Diaz Hotel and Resort on Friday.
A panel of esteemed South African wine judges chaired by Christine Rudman (CWM) , which included Dr Winnie Bowman (CWM), Colin Frith (Hon.CWM), Raymond Noppe (CWM), Ulrich Hohns and Solly Monyamane (as trainee) were in attendance for this year’s Cape Port Producers Association (CAPPA) Port & Wine Challenge.
Awards season is in full swing and De Krans Wines is bringing home the awards, earning a Double Gold and Gold at the recent 2019 Vitis Vinifera Awards.
De Krans Wines, traditionally well-known for their port style wines, has successfully made a name for themselves in recent years with producing exceptional Portuguese dry wines (including the Tritonia Calitzdorp Blend, which recently won the Trophy for best Red Blend at the Old Mutual Trophy Wine Show for the second time).
