“Doin` it right” is DHF`s first official single release. Hunter Kennedy says: “For some reason we felt like making an English song. It’s a retro club banger that makes me feel like I’m a winner! The single was recorded at Sunset Recording Studios in Stellenbosch earlier this year. The band then sent the track off to their friend Pierre Pressure in Namibia. “He is a genius when it comes to producing dance-tunes” says Fred den Hartog. “We love what he did with the song. With Pierre Pressure behind the desk, Die Heuwels Fantasties made sure to deliver a track with a mean kicking beat behind the melancholic love-song melodies and lyrics.”

“Mejuffrou Sonneblom” is a fantastic 90`s throwback song. Hunter says: “ this song reminds me of a fresh summer breeze at a pool-party.” DHF worked with the talented Potchefstroom music-producer Rudolf Willemse on this track. Fred says: “ Mejuffrou Sonneblom is a rollercoaster of emotions that will make your head bang somewhere between 80`s cinema beats and Hunter Kennedy`s machine-gun lyrics. Nostalgia and “South Africanism” is often key to the unique compositions of DHF`s songs.”

The two new tracks follow short on the heels of DHF`s recent single release “Jy Stel my Teleur” – This popular track is currently topping the charts on radio stations nationwide. A full length album is being planned for 2019.
