After a disappointing campaign, the SWD Women’s team will have an opportunity to end their season on a high when they take on Boland in the Cricket SA Provincial Women’s competition in Oudtshoorn this weekend.
A poor batting performance was the downfall for the SWD ladies in both the limited over and T20 matches during the season and Haroldine Rhodes and her team will be aiming to grab maximum points against the visitors from Paarl.
The Limited over match will be played on Saturday and the T20 match on Sunday. The SWD team is:
Julandi Saayman (Harlequins), San-Mari Strydom (Ramblers), Kaylene Abrahams (Riversdale), Miceala Andrews (Union Stars), Vuyolwethu Bonya (Pioneers), Haroline Rhodes (Union Stars) – Captain, Jané Winster (Union Stars) – V/Captain, Bianca Figeland (Ramblers), Zoe Meyer (Ramblers ) – W/Keeper, Chani Damons (Mossel Bay), Marnizelle Rabie (Harlequins) and Marion Williams (Harlequins).
For the Twenty20 match Marion Williams and Desoné Albertyn (Riversdale) will replace Marnazelle Rabie and San-Marie Strydom.
