The SWD cricket team suffered a 3-wicket defeat after they were dismissed for a record low score of 77 in Sunday’s Cricket SA Provincial One Day match against Northern Cape in Kimberley.
Only the opening batsmen, Neil Hornbuckle (24) and Kirwin Christoffels (17) who added 27 runs for the first wicket managed to reach double figures. The SWD bowlers showed a good fight back but Northern Cape eventually reached the winning target 79/7 in 22.4 overs to remain on top of Pool B.
