Brian Joss – The world has been in some varying degrees of lockdown; will we ever recover?
Will we survive financially? Will our loved ones be safe? We at Solidarity e Race have tried to remain as positive as possible in all our ventures. We have attempted to bring a bit of sanity and fun to all those who have been with us since the first e Race almost six months ago. And in doing so have also raised awareness of the pandemic and added a fair amount of financial assistance to our team of organizer, Solidarity said.
“Most of whom were stricken without any form of income during the first few months of lockdown. Not only did we help out there, but we also added a significant amount to the actual Solidarity Fund, who as we all know have used that funding to assist many South Africans who also have been found wanting financially during the Covid 19 levels.
“We are back, and much like the first races we have hosted; this edition will be as exciting and completely different to anything the world of E Racing has experienced before. We are badging this one with a Superhero theme, this is to pay tribute to all those who have been at the frontline of the fight against this terrible worldwide pandemic and who despite risks to their own lives and their families too, have not given up being at the face of the danger in order to keep us all safe and sound – the doctors, nurses, social workers, essential services providers and all who have been in harm’s way – our own superheroes,” Solidarity said.
“So come and join in a completely new experience in E Racing and E gaming and take on not only the best in SA but the best in the World too, as this time out we are not limiting the entries to South African based gamers only and after the huge successes we had on our first events, we are now hoping to expand that experience to the best gamers all over the world.
“Pure Storage, Data Sciences and NEC our long-time partners are joined by CoCre8 as this events
headline partner to bring the gamers and racers out there a fair chance at a great prize. Previous winners will testify that the efforts put into an E Race are well worth it and we expect the same when an international field assembles, so register and set your fastest hot lap to qualify at www.solidarityerace.co.za from 21 – 27 September 2020.
“We ask all our gaming super heroes to support all our frontline super heroes and enter the CoCre8 Solidarity E Race, proceeds of the registrations will be donated to the SAME Foundation,” Solidarity said.
