South African National Parks (SANParks) invites you to visit National Parks during a free entry week starting from 16th – 20th November 2020. The offer is for South African citizens and excludes accommodation and concessionaire activities.
This year’s focus is in the Wilderness with an event to ‘reconnect society’. This is a closed event by invitation only.
Stakeholders can join the campaign by visiting Parks and encouraging others to do the same. There is also an opportunity to join the virtual tour via GRNP social media tools.
We invite stakeholders to share their experiences online from 17- 20 November 2020. Themes for each day on social media are detailed below:
- The focus on the 17th November 2020 is on hiking in the Park. We encourage stakeholders with hiking trails to join and share images and videos of own hiking trails. This would promote all trails in the Region.
- The focus on Wednesday, the 18th November 2020 will be on birding. We encourage stakeholders to share their experiences with birds and birding.
- The focus on Thursday, the 19th November 2020 is on estuaries. We encourage stakeholders to share experiences and activities in the various estuaries in the Garden Route.
- The focus on Friday, the 20th November 2020 is on Tsitsikamma.
