South Western Districts Cricket (SWDC), on Saturday, successfully hosted a Road Show of the Cricket South Africa Transformation Committee. The CSA delegation led by the chairperson of the CSA Transformation Committee, Ms Muditambi Ravele, met with the SWDC Transformation Committee and Management.
The committee was briefed on the SWDC Transformation strategy, targets, and financial forecasting of rolling out such strategies broken down into each program. The presentation included provincial player statistics related to transformation targets, women cricket programs and structures, the Eminent Persons Group (EPG) action plan and targets related to the various anchors on the EPG Score Card, BEE score and status report of the company and the challenges of SWDC towards transformation.
In his response, the Chief Executive Officer of SWDC, Albertus Kennedy, described the road show as a success. “Our commitment towards transformation is a key strategic pillar of the company and we had a very good and constructive engagement with the CSA Transformation Committee”. “We were left with some very good key learnings that we can take forward”, he concluded.
