The Board of Directors of South Western Districts Cricket held an Induction Session and Strategic Planning Workshop in Oudtshoorn on Saturday 30 October 2023. Corrie van Zyl, a former coach of the Proteas and General Manager Cricket at Cricket SA, who fulfill the role of Executive Consultant at Cricket SA facilitated the program.
The Induction Session focused on the Role and Functions of Directors as stipulated in the Companies Act and alignment with the King IV report on Good Governance. The progress in terms of the Strategic plan of the company was also reviewed and operational action plans were formalized.
