The Six Gun Grill Garden Route Badgers u/19 team put up a strong performance on the first three day’s of the Cricket South Africa Khaya Majola national tournament that is hosted in Makanda (previously Grahamstown).
After a narrow 1 wicket defeat on the first day against Northern Cape the men from the Garden Route pulled off two strong performances. On Sunday they defeated Limpopo by 122 runs and on Monday, thanks to another brilliant team effort, they recorded a 48-runs victory against Easterns.
On Wednesday they will log horns against Mpumlanga. The winner of this match will advance to promotion-relegation play-off match for promotion to the platinum division next year.
