Dismal weekend for the Bbbadgers

The Six Gun Grill Garden Route Badgers had a disappointing start to their campaign in the Cricket SA T20 competition with two defeats in both their first two matches of the competition.

On Wednesday last week the Badgers lost be 4 wickets against the Northern Cape Heat in Kimberley.

On Saturday at the Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein, the Badgers let themselves down in the field when three dropped catches allowed Jacques Snyman to score an unbeaten 87 as the Knights won the 4 wickets.

The Badgers will now have an opportunity to get their ambitions for a place in the semi-finals back on track with two successive home games.  They take on the Eastern Storm on Tuesday 12 March and will be up against the Eastern Cape Iianyathi on Saturday 16 March.
