Garden Route Badgers shine at CSA Awards

Personnel and players from the Six Gun Grill Garden Route Badgers were well represented at the Cricket South Africa (CSA) annual awards function that was held at Vodaworld in Midrand on Thursday, last week.

Elridge Booysen, jointly received the award as CSA Hub Coach of the Year for his outstanding successes with the SWD Hubs team who won the CSA Hub Challenge for Coastal provinces during March this year.

Blayde Capell, the top runs scorer in the CSA Division 2 Four Day competition was named as the Four Day player of the season in Division 2.

Protea women and Garden Route Badgers batting hero, won the award as Player of the Season in the T20 professional women’s league whilst Tabitha la Grange won the award as newcomer of the Season in the Women’s Domestic professional league.
