Oudtshoorn, 30 September 2024 – The Executive Mayor of the Greater Oudtshoorn Municipality, Alderman Johan Allers, extends his heartfelt appreciation to all who contributed to the success of the Miss SA 2024 homecoming event in Oudtshoorn. This event was a celebration not only of our Miss South Africa’s achievements but also of the beautiful community that made her return to her hometown unforgettable.
We are deeply thankful to all choirs, brigades, cyclists, schools, event organizers, and stakeholders who participated with enthusiasm and dedication. “Your contributions brought life, spirit, and pride to every aspect of the celebrations, which will be fondly remembered for years to come”.
Oudtshoorn’s name trended across all social media platforms throughout the Miss SA homecoming weekend, with positive feedback pouring in from across the country. The praise for our town, its hospitality, and the warmth with which our community welcomed Miss SA was overwhelming.
“To the community of Oudtshoorn, your support during the event at the Cango Caves, as well as the street parade, did not go unnoticed. Your gracious welcome and participation showcased the unity and heart of our town. Thank you for standing together in making this event a grand success”.
