Boland, on Sunday, clinched the rural tournament for coastal provinces, after they defeated the hosts, the Garden Route Badgers by 19 runs in a fiercely contested final that was played at the Recreation Ground. The final was played in accordance the T20 format.
The two teams also met on Saturday’s second session pool match when the Bolanders won by 34 runs. The Badgers were victorious in their first two matches that were played in the 50-over format and won their T20 match on the first session against the Iianyathi Country.
