After the Six Gun Grill Garden Route Badgers recorded an impressive victory against the Limpopo Impala in their opening fixture of the Cricket South Africa One Day Cup George van Heerden and his team suffered two consecutive defeats.
Van Heerden – with an unbeaten half century – 110* was the hero in their home match defeat of 6 wickets against the Mpumalanga Rhino’s on Wednesday (19th of February).
On Sunday in Kimberley the Badgers (142 all out) lost by 5 wickets against the Knights (145/5).
The Badgers will have two tough outings – on Wednesday (26th) against the SA Emerging XI in Pretoria and Saturday the 1st of March against the Tuskers in Pietermaritzburg.
