Union Stars I maintained their unbeaten status in the SWD Premier League competition whilst Sussex stunned Knysna Cavaliers in a low scoring match. The match between New Dawn Park and George was abandoned due to rain and the fixture between Harlequins Forces and Pacaltsdorp United was re-scheduled and will now be played on 14 March 2026.
Union Stars I, at the Bridgton Sport Grounds, posted 254/8 against Union Stars II. Keenan Arries was impressive with an innings of 96. The batting innings of Union Stars II was interrupted by rain and eventually determined with the DLS formula whereafter Union Stars I won by 112 runs.
Sussex who played Knysna Cavaliers at Loerie Park, was bowled out for only 81 with Justin Meyer who bagged 6/16. Raven-Lee Kemmies (7/26) and Franco Geldenhuys (2/17) however had other ideas as Cavaliers collapsed to 60 all out – a 21 runs victory for Sussex.
