The Bridgton Hub has retained their title as SWD Boy’s Switch Schools SA 20 champions with a 10 runs victory against Outeniqua High in the final that was played at the REC Cricket Stadium on Thursday November 12th.
Bridgton, who batted first posted 130/8 in their allotted 20 overs with Ducayne Plaatjies (43) the top runs scorer. Outeniqua High were dismissed for 120 with one ball to spare with Lastio Williams 3/17, Ducayne Plaatjies (2/12) and Sherwin Plaatjies (2/22) the pick of the bowlers.
Bridgton Hub, together with the winners of Western Province and Boland will now log horns in Paarl in January 2026 to determine the Western Cape winners.
