World Aids Day – which is held annually on 1 December – brings together people from around the world to raise awareness about HIV/Aids and demonstrate international solidarity in the face of the pandemic.
As part of South Western Districts Cricket Corporate Social Investment projects members of the staff and other community stakeholders reached out to the Toekomsrust Clinic in Oudtshoorn.
Various children who are impacted with the pandemic were spoiled as donors adopted a child/children with Christmas presents.
Ms Zenobia Nel of South Western Districts Cricket who coordinated to event expressed a word of thanks and appreciation for the opportunity to be involved in this projects and extended a special word of thanks and appreciation to nursing staff at the Toekomsrust Clinic for their devotion.
