UK based alternative pop band The Curious Incident `s new EP “Penny Lonesome” is now available on iTunes: http://bit.ly/PennyLonesomeSA.
The band toured SA in November and December 2014 to promote their new EP “Penny Lonesome”. The band`s vocalist Cavey Roberts says: “The tour was an absolute blast! We overcame loadshedding, wildlife on the highways and e-tolls to meet some of our favourite people in the world at our gigs. We played by candlelight, we played under electric lights, and have fallen head over heels for SA. We hope that our love be reciprocated!”
The EP consists of 4 news songs: The first single Money hit the SA radio waves in October last year: Tongue-in-cheek teasing of the lyrics of some of the band`s favourite modern artists Aloe Blacc and Sam Smith. The Hunt: An eclectic and somewhat unexpected style mash with a positive blow-out chorus best suited to a Caribbean jump around; Diane: A Tale of youthful love in a school-time crush that’s bloomed into an Elvis-approved marriage; Please Don’t Say: Perfect for telling that special someone (lover, friend, politician) to shut the hell up.
NEW VIDEO OF SINGLE “MONEY!”
The Curious Incident has also recently released the official video for their current single “Money.” No actual Piggy’s were harmed in the making of this video. Pennies do hurt when they fall from the sky. Coke and dish washing liquid were used as cleaning aids prior to eating the pennies – those scenes didn’t even make the cut!
