Hans Oosthuizen and Tom Johnson agreed to find common goals during these discussions with Eloff where institutions like the FW de Klerk- and other Foundations in South Africa and abroad can play major roles in building South Africa as a prominent role player in Africa.

Slypsteen took up the challenge of youth development in a positive and unique approach by crossing borders and the bridges of political islands in collaboration with prominent role players like the TalkUBUNTU Foundation in the Netherlands.

Known for his straight talk, Oosthuizen confirmed that all organizations must play a prominent role in breaking the shackles of hopelessness that is crippling our youth. “The time is now to face the Truth regarding our Youth that has been neglected for too long,” he said. “Good progress has been made on national level in this regard, but unfortunately the Western Cape is still a challenge and is lagging behind it what we want to share.”

Eloff stated that communities must work together to address the challenges of our society which include inequality, poor education, unemployment, crime and corruption.
